Vinitaly USA is committed to creating equitable and accessible experiences for all our customers and those whom we work with. We understand access as a broad concept that can affect how people with disabilities and other marginalized people engage with a space.  We know creating accessibility is an ongoing process that we must consistently engage with.  We continue to take steps to improve accessibility and be transparent about where and when different access features are available.

For any accessibility accommodations requests or questions, please contact info@vinitalyusa.com

We recognize the labor that goes into feedback around accessibility and are grateful for the opportunity to improve our offerings and make it possible for you to be a part of our community.  For any questions, suggestions or requests related to accessibility you can reach out to Molly Matelski at molly@italianexpo.com with inquiries or concerns.

Accessibility

Community Agreement

At the Vinitaly USA, we are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all staff, attendees, and participants. Our community agreement outlines the principles that guide our interactions and behaviors at all our tastings, events, and functions. By participating in our events, you agree to uphold these values and contribute to a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

  1. Respect and Dignity: We treat every individual with respect and dignity, regardless of their background, identity, or beliefs. We value diverse perspectives and actively engage in creating an atmosphere free from discrimination, oppression, and bias.

  2. Challenging Oppression: We recognize and challenge forms of oppression such as racism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, fatphobia, xenophobia, ageism, and more. We collectively commit to unlearning these behaviors and attitudes through self-reflection and open dialogue.

  3. Inclusion and Accessibility: We center accessibility and inclusivity, striving to create spaces where everyone can participate fully. While event organizers bear the responsibility of ensuring accessibility, every participant is encouraged to contribute to accessibility efforts, respecting one another's needs and boundaries.

  4. Harassment and Assault: Harassment and assault in any form will not be tolerated. We are dedicated to maintaining an environment free from any behavior that threatens or violates the safety and well-being of individuals. If you witness or experience harassment or assault, please report it immediately to a manager in charge.

  5. Support and Accountability: We are committed to holding ourselves and each other accountable for our actions and words. Constructive feedback is welcomed and encouraged, as it helps us grow individually and collectively. We believe in learning from mistakes and striving for continuous improvement.

  6. Open Communication: Should you encounter any issues or concerns during our events, we encourage you to communicate with us.

By participating at Vinitaly USA, you agree to abide by this community agreement and support our shared commitment to respect, inclusivity, and safety.
